Chief Accountant for an international company

For our client, an internatioanl production company, we are searching for an experienced candidate for a position of a Chief Accountant, who will have full accountability for all accounting and tax related systems, processes and reporting and will be based in Benešov.
The main responsiblities of a successfull candidate will be:
- assurance of correctness of all accoutning transactions in G/L
- creating and maintaining up-to-date accounting methodology, company policies and correct internal processes
-keep abreast of all relevant local financial regulations, particularly taxation, and effectively communicate to the Controller, (and) home office finance for understanding and compliance
-be directly responsible for selected accoutning transactions/ areas, including booking of more complex & direct G/L transactions, provisions/ accruals posting during monthly and yearly closing, treasury, T&E, and AP related to selected services purchase and rent
-help establish systems, processes and procedures to collect and record data required for internal and external financial reporting
-maintain a strong system of internal controls which will ensure accuracy of inventories, proper safeguarding of assests, compliance with regulatory agency requirements, and the intergrity of Financial and Operational Reporting
participative ownership in ERP system implementations (from SAP to Oracle), developments and upgrades as necessary
-assist to Controller in preparation of annual and monthly financial budgets and forecast in the areas of Cash flow, taxation and selected BS items
work in the implementation of system and process improvement projects to support Company goals
The succesfull candidate should have:
-a University education (accounting or related field)
-relevant experience in Financial Accoutning, General Accounting, or Audit experience form production sector would be a big plus
-minimum upper-intermediate English
-experience with SAP or Oracle and ideally experience with the implementation of ERP system which would be a strong advantage IFRS and/ or US GAAP knowledge
-MS Office (advanced level)
-an ideal candidate should have organizational skills combined with advanced communciation skills and detail-orientation, punctuality and responsibility
