SCCM Specialist

The main responsibilities of the role are:

Support high availability systems hosted in a regional datacentre
SCCM 2012 deployment and infrastructure knowledge including troubleshooting, design and implementation
Management of SCCM hierarchy, client maintenance, patch management and software distribution in a medium to large environment
Reporting from SCCM 2012
Maintaining OS to current company standard
Development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures, documenting configurations and maintaining an asset register
Maintaining operational inventory of RDC equipment
Certificate management and PKI
Incident management and fault resolution with input to problem management
Maintenance and servicing of all RDC equipment
Developing and maintaining vendor relationships
Management of effective hand-off between teams and organisational teams
Providing input into the decision-making process for the broader scope of IT
Delivery of metrics and reporting against SLA's
Ensuring compliance with all Security requirements


We require:
At least 4-5 years practical experience
Knowledge of IT services and extensive technical experience
Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies
Demonstrable expertise in managing capacity and performance
Knowledge and experience using ITIL best practices
Ability to remotely manage infrastructure and systems
Ability to articulate complex situations with accuracy differentiating for audience
Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
Strong sense of responsibility to the customers
Professional approach to work

Deep understanding and hands on experience in the following technologies, certifications would be a plus:
-Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012
-Microsoft Operating System – Windows 2008 R2, Windows 2012 R2
-Microsoft Active Directory



Experience and certifications for the following Microsoft Stack Technologies would be a plus:

Other System Center products (Operations Manager 2012, Service Manager 2012)
Server virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V)
practical experience in Microsoft SQL Server Technology
storage (HP 3PAR), DC SAN Fabrics
backup (HP data Protector)
antivirus (McAfee ePO)
Microsoft IIS 6.0/7.0
