My client is a multinational automotive supplier and producer of metal components and parts for international car manufacturers. They have a plant just outside Žatec, in Northwest Bohemia. They have a small IT department and we are looking for an IT specialist with very good skills in development to be part of their team:
IT Development Specialist – Automotive
Responsibilities:
In this job, you will be responsible for the maintenance and development of the company’s ERP System, as well as other applications and software. It’s important for you to manage local IT projects in this regard. You will be working also on troubleshooting and further development of EDI communication between the plant and international customers and suppliers.
You will need to manage, setup and develop further Lotus Notes and SQL Database systems. Generally you will provide technical support to local users, provide operational reporting and communicate from time to time with technical headquarters. Be a key member of a small IT team.
We require:
• High School Education from a technical field (IT) is the best here
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Knowledge / experience with Lotus Notes
• EDI communication experience
• Experience with VB, VB.NET development will also be an asset here.
• Experience with manufacturing, production and logistics will be a strong advantage here
• Communicative English language
