My client is a multinational company with a global, well-known brand name. Here in the Czech market they have an international IT centre providing IT services their business entities in different countries.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior VMWare Engineer, you will be responsible for virtual environment tasks. These will include build, maintenance and issues resolution with both regional and global infrastructure, within our client’s international organisation.
You will need to develop procedures and tools for the building of the virtualization platform, design build of virtual machines, operations of virtual machines, operations and further development of the virtualization platform. You can expect to install and maintain VMware infrastructure servers and their routine upgrades. Capacity planning of virtual global and regional environments will also play an important role.
You will also need to deliver technical implementation of standard builds, actively participate in virtual environment technical designs with service architects and document them. Provide technical consultancy to internal customers to support implementation processes. You will need to document the architecture and all procedures, as well as prepare guidelines for other teams working with the platform.
We require:
• High school/University degree specialized to computer/technical area
• Minimally 3-5 years experience in IT operations department supporting business critical systems in corresponding area
• Proficient with VMware vSphere and related products
• Aware of Windows and Linux RHEL operating systems
• Aware of Scripting Languages
• Experience in a large, multi vendor, computing environment preferable
• Ability to build and maintain partnerships
• Good English language knowledge
