IT Business Analyst – biotechnology company

Would you like to be a part of a biotechnology company, work on interesting IT projects and communicates with stakeholders from USA to China? We are looking for an IT Business Analyst who will be responsible for preparation business, functional, system and test analysis related to respective IT systems.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work closely with business representatives to identify and analyze core business processes and workflows
• Assist in developing the GAP analysis, and conceptual designs necessary to meet the business objectives
• Ability to communicate to business as well as to development / testing teams
• Translate technical information for a business audience
• Ability to document business requirements in the form of IT analysis and to visualize it in process maps
• Coordination with IT PM and QA analysts, communication with vendors.
• Verification of the traceability between requirements – features – UAT test scripts
• Ability to understand the setup / configuration of the system in order to analyze issues encountered
• Support of testing effort whilst implementing new releases, systems (test scripts preparation, issue identification, troubleshooting...)
• Participate or lead technology projects related to upgrades, systems, applications and process improvements due to business needs or costs optimization.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• University degree in IT/Business Informatics or similar
• 3 - 5 years’ experience on similar position (business or process or system analysis / software development…)
• High level of expertise and knowledge of business analysis and/or business processes and understanding of the underlying technologies
• Good knowledge of business process modelling (BPMN) and UML
• Analytical thinking and common sense is a MUST
• Experience with design of Enterprise Architecture is a big plus
• Good communication / negotiation skills and argumentation
• Prior experience in the field of biotechnology / pharmacology is an advantage
• Knowledge of Czech and English language (both written and spoken)
