Car Data Specialist

For our client, we are looking for a Car Data Specialist.

Job description, responsibilities and duties:

• Setting up and maintaining company’s car database in a structured way on behalf of foreign subsidiaries
• You enter new vehicles in the database and propose prices for the entity you work with
• You are in daily contract with the car data provider (Eurotax, Jato, Car dealers, Importers)
• You enter options, accessories and packages in system which are not provided but still relevant in the local market
• You maintain local contacts such as importers and dealers directly or via a local colleague
• You maintain the database and make changes caused by changes in models, options, packages as well as residual value, service, maintenance, repair and insurance classes. You contribute to the “cleaning” of the database if necessary (for instance regarding manually created options and packages)
• You keep yourself updated about developments in vehicles (new models, facelifts)
• You visit the entities you will work for on a regular basis as you are member of the residual value committee and join the meetings of this committee (possibly through video conference)
• You keep yourself updated about local tax rules and habits
• You recognise opportunities to improve the current operating methods and you seize them to improve our service or to make it more efficient.
• On a punctual basis, you can provide back-up to your colleagues regarding fleet analysis
• You recognise complaints and you record them consistently in the system.
• You act in accordance with Company's mission and values.
• You work independently and actively on the development of your knowledge of the Company's products, processes, and organization.
• You work independently and actively on the development of your knowledge of branches, markets, and clients and you share this knowledge with others.
• You follow internal and external training courses in order to, for instance, further expand your expert knowledge.
• You are aware of the agreements as laid down in the Service Level Agreements in your field of expertise and you fulfil these obligations.
• You act in a proactive manner, you observe trends, and you respond appropriately.
• You independently maintain a thematic attitude in your work.

Requirements for the employee:
University education (Master's degree) - Technical background would be a plus
