For our significant client, an international company with its own factory in Czech republic and modern offices based in Prague , we are currently looking for motivated candidates for the supply chain role.
On this position, you will be responsible for the EMEA region regarding to contract development, analysing, reviewing and negotiating contract proposals, evaluating, selecting and developing suppliers, assessing suppliers’ risk and issuing purchase orders. In addition, you will be leading sourcing, logistics and resource management decisions. Your agenda will also include cost reduction activity, cost management and ensuring appropriate implementation and maintenance of Supply Chain processes.
As an ideal candidate, you should have a university degree in Business or Supply Chain Management field. Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry or of a similar one is necessary. You should also have negotiation, analytical, influencing, decision-making, project management and leadership skills as well as the ability to work across all business functions and to solve problems effectively. Furthermore, you ought to be able to interpret, analyse and negotiate contracts, to come to a consensus with a partner, and have an understanding of contractual laws.
Fluent English is a must and another language (e.g. German, French, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, Russian) is an advantage. Industry recognized certification, such as APICS CSCP or CPIM is seen as beneficial. This position also requires frequent travelling.
