My client is a multinational company with a global, well-known brand name. Here in the Czech market they have an international IT centre providing IT services their business entities in different countries.

INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER – CITRIX (REF: WEDI)
Responsibilities:
The main focus of this job will be to provision and administer Citrix infrastructure as well as hosted application / desktop services, and to support infrastructure services connected to it - Active Directory, Print server, File Server and more.
You will migrate multiple Citrix environments and administer NAS shares for the Citrix environment, design and implement infrastructure service improvements, and develop procedures and tools for build of the improving delivery or operations of infrastructure.
You can expect to demonstrate, install and commission infrastructure servers, routine upgrades, and deploy critical security patches to all servers supported by the Citrix team. You will provide consultation on a project by project basis regarding server specification and capacity adhering to Global standards.
Provide advice to users on systems, products and services, which are available to them. Build, configure and support the underlying server hardware / virtual server environment, to host new applications according to global server build standards. You will also be responsible for the creation of the technical documentation for the Citrix environment and tightly connected infrastructure services in use / supported by the Citrix team.
We require:
• University Education from an IT or technical background is an advantage here
• Around 4 years IT experience, with around 2 years plus experience in a similar role
• Experience and technical knowledge of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop
• Proven technical knowledge of Active Directory, DFS, Terminal Services (licensing)
• Technical knowledge of Windows server operating systems (W2K3/W2K8R2)
• Proven knowledge of scripting languages (CMD, PowerShell, VB scripting)
• Networking technology (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Secure Access Gateway, Security)
• Experience with deployment of different applications in Windows infrastructure
• Basic experience and knowledge of server virtualization (VMWare) and storage technologies
• Aware of Corporate, Industry and Professional Standards (ITIL)
• Fluent spoken and written English language
