SAP Support Specialist L2

Support Applications in a L2 function to ensure a smooth flow of business critical processes across global, regional and local applications in close liaison with business Key-users and multiple global L3 support teams (ERP, F&BO, BBT, BASSD, PCH, Shared Service).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

In country (Czech Republic - Prague) located L2 support person, responsible for support of the business processes across local and global systems ERP and F&BO in the SAP implemented version for Czech Republic and Hungary.
Work on the implemented version of SAP and provide support to the end users as the BAU responsibility.
Responsible to work and coordinate activities to facilitate education/issue resolution as an integrator between markets and global support teams across end to end business processes and systems
Point of contact for ERP key users to address problem management and support specific escalation
Support local Interfaces to edge systems, EDI, LSP and business intelligence
Provide local interface support / monitoring as needed in SAP and edge systems, e.g. EDI, IDoc transactions in SAP and support to resolve inventory differences
Point of contact for ERP Key users for User access requests
Local Point of contact for communication regarding possible changes to ERP
Support regression tests of end to end processes in case of ERP changes (new deployments or upgrades)
Support impact analysis for local applications in case of upgrades of global ERP solutions and vice versa
Edge system management - provide local technology expertise in case of business driven process changes
Help manage business demand for enhancements into existing global/regional platforms and capabilities
Coordinate maintenance & enhancement requests
Data steward and extract support
Ensure data consistency between ERP and edge systems, e.g. BI interfaces to local commercial applications
Audit support
User training support
Responsible for BT related tasks. Documentation, change management, Disaster Recovery Plan etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

Technical Skill Requirements:
Knowledge in application management
Experience in application development or change management in different technologies, e.g. SAP, Microsoft
Knowledge in respective SAP process flow and specific L2 transactions
Good understanding about job scheduling processes and interface architecture
Knowledge gained in supporting Sales Order Management, Supply chain planning, BI, and Finance for specific projects is essential

Qualifications:
Preferred Education: BS, Master or extensive work experience: Preferred Discipline(s): Information Technology, Computer Science.
Strong ability to engage cross – functional teams to solve complex problems

Proven ability to work successfully in interdisciplinary, virtual teams
