They have a centre of excellence in the area of IT, which provides services across EMEA. For this company I am currently seeking the right candidate for the following position:
SOFTWARE QUALITY ENGINEER (REF: HOKL)
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the quality, reliability, performance, availability, security and supportability of the delivered IT solutions, systems and configurations affecting quality management system.
Responsible to understand all aspects of the hardware and software configurations and interdependencies of Edwards systems
Contributes to IT project delivery by providing technical quality engineering expertise throughout all phases of the development life cycle.
Responsible for requirements analysis, systems design and code reviews, unit and integration testing, and authoring technical documentation;Applies knowledge of software engineering standards, verification and validation, compliance and risk management processes to ensure conformance of system to functional and non-functional requirements and applicable regulatory requirements.
Partnering with IT personnel in the software quality, architecture, development, configuration and delivery of solutions.
Leads and executes assigned audits;
Supports company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, QSR, regulations
We require:
Education from an IT or technical background
Must be fluent in every aspect of software/systems analysis, architecture, design, development, and implementation. 5+ years experience with development and execution of systems software verification and validation processes and practices.
Hands on experience with all aspects of software testing included but not limited to requirements and code reviews, and unit/integration/functional/UAT testing practices. Has significant and intimate knowledge of software quality and testing tools and practices. (This person can have a testing background but it should not be most of their skills, instead of “testing skills”, the person should be able to write test protocols vs executing it.)
Background in business analyst role in a plus.
Experience in regulated environment (pharma or medical device industry) and familiarity with good practices is strongly preferred
Expert knowledge in the interpretation and application of relevant Domestic and International Regulations and Industry Standards (e.g. ISO, QSR, CMDCAS, EU Directives, etc.) is a plus
Knowledge in Customer Relationship management (CRM) databases, SalesForce.com a plus;
Experience to develop the requirements, documents and understand the business process and how it translate to the system.
