The responsibilities include:
-Collaborate with business users on “SharePoint Projects” which may include a combination of
requirements gathering, use case development and analysis, solution design, and project
management.
-Monitor and optimize SharePoint performance
-Assist the business users with their SharePoint sites, answering questions, training the
business Admins, suggesting improvements to their process or methodology, etc.
General troubleshooting of problems experienced by SharePoint users to resolve problems
with the platform.
Perform assessments of SharePoint environments providing recommendations and best
practices.
-Achieved MS Certifications in SP 2010 or 2013. Certifications should be current.
-Create and maintain operational documentation, architecture diagrams, maintenance plans
and other platform related documents
-Lead in planning and deploying SharePoint patches and updates. Stay update-to-date with
latest SharePoint patches and upgrade knowledge.
-Participate in the creation of disaster recovery plans
-Ability to manage SharePoint farms (production or staging) and SQL Server configuration and
content databases
-Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to client end-users and business units
Qualifications
-Master or Bachelor degree or equivalent job experience
- +7 years’ experience including planning, installing, configuring, supporting and upgrading
multi-tier SharePoint environments
- +5 years as a technical architect for Microsoft and non-Microsoft technologies
-Prior experience and hand-on development knowledge in the following is a must:
o Creating custom site definitions and features
o Customize look-and-feel including master pages, templates, CSS, JavaScript, page
layouts etc.
o Thorough understanding of SharePoint Out-of-box functionality
o Develop custom web parts, projects and solutions
o SharePoint Services, out-of-the-box web parts and extensibility
o Development models (server side, client side and apps)
o HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, ECMAScript/javascript
o Mobile device and Responsive web design
o Workflows and Forms (Nintex and/or K2 experience a plus)
o Build and test PowerShell and AutoSPInstaller deployment scripts
-MSCE SharePoint 2013
-Able to communicate fluently in English, verbally and in writing.
