IT Project Manager

Our client:

The client is a top online marketing and ecommerce consultancy for retail companies and is expanding their world class technology and project delivery team who will be managing multiple devices and platforms expansion.

Job duties:

Managing large projects from kick off through launch.
Managing client expectations and ensuring quality delivery.
Coordination of the technology team, representing clients internally, maintaining sites, creating and managing budgets and schedules and maintaining team morale.
Negotiating for resources and allocation to projects.
Maintaining and documenting all issues impacting deliverables, schedules, and budget.
Pro-actively communicating schedule slips and scope changes.
Making a contribution in the defining and refining of processes.
Managing large-scale, multi-location projects, and projects containing virtual resources. 

Your profile:

5 years of experience with IT project management implementation and delivery (focused on small to mid-sized projects)
Be able to influence a team of geographically distributed resources, their daily work and development.
Implementation of large scale ecommerce platform will be an added advantage.
Ability to advise client on best practice in ecommerce space for all technologies.
Understanding of Agile development process.

Excellent communication skills.
Analytical skills.
Strong commercial awareness.
Ability to lead a team and be a great team player.
Strong focus on achieving team goal(s) and delivering quality projects.
Ability to take on responsibility and be reliable and consistent.
