Senior Enterprise Architect

Responsibilities:

As an Enterprise Architect you will be responsible for aligning the IT strategy of the e-commerce platform along with the organizations and our clients´ goals. You will be responsible for promoting shared infrastructure and application approaches to improve our alignment with business goals and avoid duplication of functionality. Responsible for shaping our enterprise level solution that is scalable and adaptable to the markets needs. You will be implementing standards and guidelines that will guide the selection, development and implementation of IT Technology within the enterprise. You will contribute towards developing employee knowledge and specific skills to achieve the above goals.

Line management of Enterprise Architects and Business Analyst
Will be customer facing and performing a consulting role to identify business solutions along with the client
Represent the technology teams in customer facing interactions
Contribute to vision and strategy for future e-commerce platforms
Create solution designs for large e-commerce systems and integrations with ERP systems
Evaluate and estimate complexity of projects including identifying possible impact on existing systems
Participate in the development process regarding architecture design, help the development team with integration problems
Work closely with Team Leads in defining detailed technical designs
Identify and address technical or operational risks and assess business impact of specific technologies/strategies
Push technical innovation in overall solution architecture
Take creative approaches to problem solving and apply innovative methods

We require:

3+ years of experience with multiple large e-commerce implementations with complex requirements
Ability to manage a team of geographically distributed analysts and architects, their daily work and personal development – previous experience is a big advantage
Ability to advise client on best practice in e-commerce space for all technologies
Should have good working knowledge of all major 3rd party add ons commonly used in e-commerce platforms
Experience with Web Service integrations (SOAP and REST)
Experience with catalogue, inventory (various methods), pricing, orders, confirmations, refunds etc. via Integration
Deep knowledge of high availability environment sizing, configurations, solutions for bursting/peaks
Understanding of code repositories, patching, etc.
Agile development process
Magento Enterprise experience will be an added advantage
Understanding of UI development process, best practice for e-commerce – will be required to give advice during these sessions
Communication skills both Czech/Slovak and English – you will become go-to person for 30+ resources from many teams and clients
