Philip Morris International Inc. (PMI) is the world´s leading international tobacco company is currently looking for solid finance professional for the role of a BUDGETING & REPORTING ANALYST. As a successful candidate you will join our newly developed cluster organization (Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary).


This job will provide you the base to get known the company and ensure the understanding of the business and strategies, internal and external environment in order to grow further. You will prepare and perform all related activities of budgeting and budget control related to Business Expenses in order to ensure proper support is provided to the business in achieving its financial objectives.

You can expect to be responsible for a wide range of activities such as

  • Financial planning - prepare and present Business Expenses for all forecast cycles and monitor actuals, provide comparisons and evaluate variances between actuals and forecast, strive to achieve forecasting accuracy KPI’s
  • Financial control - prepare analysis and present financial performance against a target, all relevant expenditures, by account and project, established and agreed with the business responsible, and propose proactive / corrective measures in order to meet agreed targets
  • Business analysis - design and execute ad-hoc analyses/models on matters related to Business expenses, in accordance with PMI, Regional and/or Local guidelines, to support the management team to align and meet business targets.

  • University degree qualifications, preferably Economics
  • US GAAP knowledge
  • 2+ years of professional experience (Financial Planning or Controlling, Consulting)
  • MS Office (mainly Excel and PowerPoint), SAP knowledge welcomed
  • Advanced spoken and written English
  • Analytical skills and logical thinking
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Initiative, open minded, flexible and reliable, drive for results
