Your new company
Our client is an internal financial Business Unit (SSC) responsible for delivering high quality services to worldwide leader in Compressor, Industrial and Construction Technique, who is also one of the world's most sustainable companies.
Your new role
At this moment, we are looking for an experienced candidate to join a new Accounting team that will be located in Prague and in contact with stakeholders in CEE region (Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia). As a Chief Accountant you will be responsible for a team of Senior Accountants as well as supporting Controlling in financial services with strong focus on reporting activities and controlling. You will work in a newly implemented ERP system (SAP) and your main responsibility will be to make sure that all monthly and end activities are done correctly and in accordance to internal accounting principles and procedures. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for the complex accounting agenda, reconciliation, re-invoicing, bank and cash application tasks.
Also, you should be in charge of monthly and quarter reporting according to the financial structure of the company. Your support in taxes and audits is also expected.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a strongly analytical and accurate candidate with University Degree in Accountancy or Finance and at least 5 years of working experience on Accounting role covering all mentioned processes who has an experience with people management.
We also expect professional level of English and SAP knowledge is a an advantage.
Ideal candidate is a driven and communicative person with sense of responsibility and independence who is also able meet deadlines and work under pressure.
