Digital Media & Communications Specialist CZ&SK - Prague

The Digital Media & Communications Specialist works closely with internal brand marketing teams, digital agencies and media agencies in CZ/SK in order to develop digital media and communication plans and activations, with the objective of creating a step change in the effectiveness and efficiency of brand activations in the digital space. They lead or oversee the implementation of these plans, with the support of the agencies and Media manager. They provide knowledge and experience in developing and executing digital campaigns across multiple channels and media.

Responsibilities - real duties

  • Support Brand Marketing in creating focused digital activation plans and campaigns
  • Support Brand Marketing in executing these activations and more general day to day digital requests
  • Responsible for relationship with agencies handling digital media to ensure efficient and effective media execution in digital
  • Responsible for digital media plan creation and implementation, cooperating with media manager to drive integration with ATL
  • Responsible for tracking and evaluating digital media spend, capturing and distributing learnings, and providing recommendations for optimisation
  • ‘Lead by example’ by executing 2-3 digital activations per year, driving best practice execution in the business
  • Support other digital projects of the Corporate Affairs, IT and Trade Marketing teams

 

Requirements - who are you?

  • University-level education
  • 3-4 years working experience in a marketing environment in either an media or advertising agency or in a FCMG company’s brand marketing department, including at least 2 years of proven work experience directly related to digital media and communications
  • Strong understanding of the role of digital communications vs. traditional communication forms and the criteria for successful digital marketing
  • Strong digital media understanding of both CZ and SK markets, in terms of highly used online platforms and media formats
  • Understanding of digital measurement and metrics over Paid, Owned and Earned media channels.
  • Active experience with Google Analytics and Facebook - Insights required. Other measurement techniques are a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of Social Media(s) and how to use it to build brands
  • Negotiation, communication and teamwork skills
  • Project and time-management skills
  • Strong analytical skills would be advantage
  • Fluent English – both spoken and written
  • Driving license B - active driver
