Global Sourcing Lead - Contingent Workforce Services

You will be responsible for managing spend on a global basis for professional services, external workers and other staffing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 8+ years in a professional business environment, with indirect procurement experience managing diverse spend required
  • Deep and strategic knowledge of Procurement & Accounting concepts, ERP systems, RFx processes, Contracts and T&C’s, and generally accepted purchasing principles; expert commodity knowledge
  • Very strong ability to apply experience and knowledge to create continuous and strategic improvements in spend and risk management, influence others with knowledge and skills
  • Experience working with professional services sourcing is desired
  • Demonstrate outstanding change management, project management and communication skills
  • Strong ability to lead and manage others
  • Mastery of Excel, Outlook, Word and Powerpoint

     

Who You'll Work With

You will be part of the global Sourcing team based in Prague, that drives value for McKinsey and enhances stakeholder experience.

What You'll Do

Your task will be to deliver against savings targets and required service levels for higher spend or more complicated projects. You will conduct all activities using generally accepted purchasing principles, including TCO, demand management, PESTLE, etc. You will be responsible for finding new ways to save money and add qualitative value and you will influence stakeholders to adopt these opportunities.

Additionally, you will lead, build and work with teams to review current supplier relationships and commercial terms. You'll develop analyses and business cases for change and to create new sources of supply, and you will manage and build ongoing and successful relationships with suppliers, foster cooperation, and adoption and fulfillment of contract obligations. You will model best practices for others on the Sourcing team and share deep knowledge widely within group.

Furthermore, you will contribute to inter-office and departmental initiatives, providing insight to leading best practices and supplier initiatives and innovations. Depending on the spend category, you may represent sourcing as an extended team member in global negotiations and supplier interactions.
