HR BP & Talent Management and Org. Development Manager

The HRBP & TMOD Manager is responsible for managing overall talent development and employee development efforts to provide comprehensive talent management programs and development opportunities to build a strong talent mindset, develop the talent pipeline to support continuous business growth. Through effective influence, guidance and execution support the creation and delivery of HR strategy that support business plans and builds organizational capability. Partner line managers for the respective client group to provide workable HR solutions to meet changing market to support achieving business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

HRBP Accountabilities

  • Work closely with pre-defined functions’ managers, associates and teams and support with the implementation of the Business plan, highlighting potential HR-related Business opportunities or weaknesses.
  • Proactively build and establish strong relationship with client group. Support and execute tactical workforce planning.
  • Provide change management support to transformation and restructuring efforts.
  • Act as a facilitator between Operational Manager and TAS (Talent Acquisition and Staffing) to ensure recruiting and retention.
  • Support in ensuring rewards and incentives are implemented, in close cooperation with the respective Compensation & Benefits expert(s) (Center of Excellence).
  • Ensure adherence to relevant law and legal framework, SOX requirements, SOPs etc.
  • Participate in, or lead, HR Projects.

TMOD Accountabilities

  • Work with the Head of HR and Regional TMOD department (CEE) to formulate and execute the talent strategy to align the business strategy to talent requirements.
  • Work with the HR Head and HR BP and Leaders to arrange, facilitate and improve the Organization and Talent Review (OTR) process, including succession planning to identify and develop critical position holders and their successors.
  • Fully utilize the Talent Management System to improve effectiveness of talent management processes and outputs.
  • Advise and guide HR BP and people managers on the talent development tools for their business areas.
  • Build talent pools and skills/capability required for the emergent business model.
  • Provide tools and undertake assessments of high performing and potential talent.
  • Support line managers and leading specific capability and team development programs and interventions. Deliver and facilitate i. e. High Performance Teams, Assimilation program, Change management program, Learning Agility and Sustain Performance, training, Novartis Leadership Fundamentals, 360 feedback coach etc; develop and deliver company-wide training programs.
  • Identify the TMOD needs of associates and leaders - work with internal and external resources to provide comprehensive training and development pro-grams.
  • Provide 1:1 coaching and mentoring to line managers, Leadership Teams and key talents. Support line managers in all personal development within their teams.
  • To leverage synergies across Divisions. Facilitate and promote cross divisional and cross country talent exchange.
  • Diagnose and improve employee engagement by driving participation of the Global Employee survey. Cascading results and implementing relevant actions.
  • Support cultural change and foster diversity and inclusion within the Units.

Requirements

Minimum requirements The ideal candidate will have

  • University degree in Psychology and Social Science min. 7-10 years.
  • Czech/Slovak – mother language; English - fluent – written and spoken
  • Proven record of managing processes related to employee selection, development, retention, and motivation, talent development and training.
  • Experience of working within a shared service model. Experience of working in matrix structures and cross cultural environments.
  • Experience of working at senior levels in an organization together with the capability to communicate effectively at that level. Proven technical expertise and experience within employee relations, organization development, resourcing, compensation and benefits
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially word, excel, ppt)
