Position is open for international company, leader in automotive segment (well-known car brand).
Responsible for planning and implementing all truck and bus (new and used), after sales and contracted services PR and communication activities, including cooperation on events in the Czech and Slovak markets.
Essential Duties and Role Responsibilities:
To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
Marketing plan
- Together with Marketing and Communications Manager develop the yearly marketing plan, focusing on PR activities
- Support, coordinate activities of the marketing plan
- Follow-up and reporting
Events
- Test drives, Open days (supporting dealers)
- Other customer activities, Special events
- Organisation of product launches (communication/press materials)
- Production/Adaption of videos
- Public Relations (Spending 80% of working time)
Develop PR plan for the year
- Manage the cooperation with journalists:
- Press releases
- Press conferences
- Journalist trips
- Press activities (test drives)
- Customer magazine, four times a year
- Coordinate/supervise PR done by dealers
- Media monitoring
- Internal communication
- Internal magazine, five times a year
Education and/or Experience
- Experience in marketing and PR at a multinational company
- Established relationship with automotive journalists
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- College/University degree in communications or economics, preferably in marketing
- Active knowledge of English language and Czech
- Willing to travel across Czech Republic and Slovakia
