Senior Consultant - FSI Regulatory Team

As a Senior Consultant, you will participate in wide range of projects in cooperation with advisory and audit teams focusing on the risk management at financial institutions. You will monitor and analyze new regulation in cooperation with our legal team and our international regulatory centers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of advisory projects (risk management systems at bank, regulatory – PSD2, MiFID, CRD/CRR, ČNB regulation, etc.)
- Delivery of audit projects focused on risk management systems
- Participation on projects focused on IPO and bond issues
- Monitoring of the new regulations applicable to financial institutions
- Contact point for the global Deloitte regulatory centers
- Participation in internal and external training
Candidate requirements:
- University degree (preferably in Economics, Finance or Law)
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience
- Experience from risk management department of bank, compliance departments, internal or external audit, regulatory bodies or similar
- Experience with ČNB regulation in any given area is an advantage
- Knowledge of other regulation as a strong advantage: MiFID, CRD/CRR, IFRS 9/IAS 39, IPO, etc.
- Interest in regulation and risk management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Well-developed communication and presentation skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in written and spoken Czech, advanced knowledge of English (written and spoken)
