Lawyer – IT/IP and data protection (KPMG Legal)
KPMG Legal is seeking a lawyer to participate in projects mainly in the area of IT/IP and data protection law. The successful candidate will join the legal team and will be involved in providing legal advisory and solutions to our local and international clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate legal engagements and supervise junior colleagues
- Independently draft contractual documents and legal memoranda
- Prepare groundwork and keep the ownership of various legal projects
- Participate in building an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment
- Contribute ideas/opinions to the legal team and listen/respond to other team members' views
- Build and develop personal skills and expertise.
Requirements:
- Czech university degree in Law
- 2 - 5 years’ work experience in a law firm focused on domestic and international clients
- Vast experience in IT/IP and data protection law; other specializations (e.g. real estate, regulatory or corporate law) are welcome
- Excellent spoken and written English and Czech
- Assertiveness and very good communication skills
- Excellent teaming and client interaction skills
- High level of commitment and dedication
- Time management skills
