Responsibilities
- Review requirements and specifications during the development process
- Design, develop, execute and maintain test plans for new and existing systems
- Use automated testing products, to help design/model/code/validate load and functional tests and associated processes enabling DAS deliver high quality business-critical solutions to its customers.
- Perform deep-dive analysis on issues raised in the development/execution of tests – tracing through to the source of the problem, with support from Development Teams, and contributing to the resolution of those issues
- Participate in the deployment and operational use of the solution to maintain and continue to enhance the service solutions.
- Work within a global/distributed team of developers to facilitate technical discussions thereby help formulate solutions to the issues identified.
Qualifications & Skills required
Computer Science/Engineering graduate. Applicable industry and/or research experience is an advantage.
Experience and a track record of solution identification/ design/ implementation/ testing/ deployment/ support for enterprise-level systems using one or more of the following technologies (in order of preference):
- Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS) – highly desirable
- Selenium (or similar test automation tool)
- Any integrated test environment used to code functional/load tests
- Java/J2EE
- Reporting technologies (e.g. Oracle Apex/OBI)
- Python or other scripting languages would be an added advantage
- RDBMS language (e.g. SQL, PL/SQL)
- Good communication skills. Experience at articulating solution requirements.
- Experience with Oracle tools and technologies, and distributed systems is a plus
- Independent, self-actualized, and motivated to get things done.
- Must be results-oriented
- Must also be a top team player, and fluency in English is essential.
