Startup Investment Manager, KB SmartSolutions

We are looking for an exceptional Startup Investment Manager/Company developer to join our team, KB SmartSolutions.

Who are we?

We are KB SmartSolutions, a venture vehicle and fintech developer house belonging to Societe General/Komerční Banka Group. We have the freedom of a start-up and the power of a global firm. We create business models connecting the best of fintechs and a traditional bank. We fund firms, help them mature and scale substantially. We build fintechs ourselves, too. We believe both in “client-first” and in “money makes the world go around”. We build financial services of the future, whatever it takes.

Who is a Company developer?

As a Company developer, you will be responsible for one or two companies in the portfolio. Together with the fintech founder/CEO your task will be to

• Develop joint KB-fintech client value proposition
• Develop joint KB-fintech business/economic model
• Help develop a fintech into a mature company (e.g. by identifying weak fintech points and working them out by your own hands and sweat, by leveraging the Bank or otherwise)
• Help implement the fintechs solution into the Bank
• Help achieve scale and commercial success (approaching the client portfolio and otherwise)

You may also be responsible to develop a turn-key company or lead an internal start-up yourself.
