For our client, international leasing company, we are looking for Chief Accountant/ Teamleader with following responsibilities and duties:
•Coordinates monthly closing process
•Prepares tax returns as VAT, income tax and road tax
•Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company procedures
•Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
•Identifying gaps in processes and closing the gaps in cooperation with colleagues
•Plans, assigns, and directs work of a small team of accountants
•Reports directly to CFO

Language skills: English - Advanced (C1)
Personality requirements and skills:
•Min. experience of 4 years in the field of accounting
•Very good understanding of local accounting rules and IFRS
•Very good understanding of tax rules
•Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Excel
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks
•Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
•Project planning skills
•Ability to identify process gaps and skills to close them
•Experiences in project management
•Experience with team leading
