Core business: After obtaining its license to operate a dual 900/1800 GSM mobile network in October 1999, Český Mobil a.s. became the first dual-band mobile operator in the Czech Republic. We started our commercial operation of the most advanced GSM network in the Czech Republic under the brand name Oskar. In June 2005, we became a member of the Vodafone family and in 2006; Oskar Mobil was renamed Vodafone Czech Republic a.s. In 2007, we became a comprehensive telecommunications operator, when we launched the first truly converged service, Vodafone OneNet, to companies offering mobile and fixed voice and data services including Internet access. In 2009 we reached the 3 million customers. In 2010 we started to intensively build a 3G network and by the end of 2012 we had already covered 73.2% of the population. In 2012, we introduced the "My Vodafone" mobile self-care and we opened a state-of-the-art customer service center for OneNet companies. In May 2013 we brought to the Czech market the new "Red" unrestricted fares that are part of Vodafone's global strategy. We started the test operation of our LTE network and rented our network to the first full-fledged virtual operators. We are serving significant customers in the government, who began to use our services, such as the Fire Brigade and Prague Castle.
